About Me
The Full Story
I am Niti Singh, and as the creator of this platform, I am passionate about promoting body positivity, balanced living, and the power of nutrition to support overall well-being. With a deep-rooted interest in biology and the science of nourishment, I believe that understanding how our bodies function empowers us to make informed, compassionate choices about how we care for ourselves. This space was created to inspire others to embrace a healthy lifestyle that honors both physical health and mental well-being—without rigid rules or unrealistic expectations.
My approach is grounded in the belief that true wellness is not about striving for perfection, but about cultivating respect for our bodies, enjoying the process of nourishing ourselves, and finding joy in movement, food, and daily habits. Through wholesome, accessible recipes and evidence-informed insights, I aim to make nutrition feel approachable, sustainable, and deeply connected to self-care. Whether you're beginning your wellness journey or looking to deepen your understanding, I hope this platform serves as a source of encouragement, clarity, and inspiration.
Background and Certifications
I believe that advice about food and health should be trustworthy, evidence-based, and realistic—especially for teens. To build a strong foundation before creating this website, I completed an in-depth three-course specialization focused on Food Sustainability, Mindful Eating, and Healthy Cooking.
As part of this specialization, I completed three Stanford Online courses offered through Coursera: Rebuilding Our Relationship with Food, Introduction to Food and Our Environment, and Cooking for Busy People. These courses went beyond basic nutrition tips and explored how our food choices affect both personal health and the environment, how mindset and habits influence eating behaviors, and how to prepare balanced meals in a way that fits into busy, real-life schedules.
Throughout the coursework, I engaged with research-based lessons, case studies, and practical activities that emphasized long-term health rather than quick fixes or restrictive diets. I learned how to evaluate nutrition information critically, understand food systems and sustainability, and translate science-backed concepts into everyday choices.
Everything I share on this site is shaped by what I’ve learned through these courses, along with ongoing research and reflection. My goal is not to tell people what to eat, but to help teens develop a healthier, more mindful relationship with food—one that supports both well-being and confidence over time.
